Items like popcorn, ice cream and nut selections are popular as are bake sales that offer fresh home baked goods. check out a website for polymer clay logs, same principle would apply. Once they’re rolled into the log, freeze before cutting for baking.

Sales Planning Councils School fundraising cookie dough

When planning your selling frozen cookie dough fundraiser of the school that is, there are 6 important things to consider when planning and executing the sale.

1. Be sure to give students enough time to make sales. It seems that today the standard selling time is 2 weeks, but this has not always been the case. When I started in the business of fundraising for the school in 1986, often begin selling on Monday and end on Friday. The theory is that most sales take place when students are most excited about and that is at the beginning of the sale. For what it is and really has not had as dramatic effect on sales as one might think. So … 2 weeks is more or less the standard time of sale these days, but if you find that you do not have 2 full weeks to “get all the”

2. Give your fundraising company for at least a week before the sale starts to get its supply of school fundraising, brochures and promotional material for you. Doing that will give you enough time to get everything organized and ready to go without haste and leave the important details left undone.

3. It is better to end the sale on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Doing this allows students who forget to turn in your order form and money in time for the next day you remember to wear to school. If you complete your sale Monday, will everyone “forgot” about it, so most orders are delivered on Tuesday anyway.

4. Plan in their products that reach the third week after your order is turned in. Depending on where your school, it takes that long for the manufacturer to make and pull your application and have it shipped to you in a truck chilled or platform.

5. When planning your event to raise funds frozen product, you want to allow 5-6 weeks from the time you start your sale until the end of it, which is the day of delivery.

6. You do not really need to plan for the storage of the orders that they forget, if you plan ahead for your day of delivery. There are several things you can do to make sure everything stated in this all important day.

A.) Have stickers (provided by some companies) that teachers “slap” to the students as they leave school the day before delivery which says: “Cookie Dough delivery tomorrow.” The day of delivery other label goes home “in” the student says, “Pickup Your Order Today.”

B.) Put up signs marking the school or on poles in front of the school say the same as the stickers.

C) Send a note home the day before the delivery that goes something like this:. “Cookie dough Delivery From tomorrow we do not have a place to store leftovers and forgotten orders, we will donate any remaining cookie dough at 6:00 pm to accommodate the local women on their behalf. If you are unable to collect their order, please make arrangements for someone else to pick it up for you. Thanks, Signed …”

Point “C” actually seems to work fine!
